Ian has over 20 years of pharmaceutical industrial experience and has received both the Medicines Research Award (UK) and the PhRMA Discovers' Award (US).
He had 18 years with a leading multinational and was deputy head of a 40-strong research/discovery team; during this time he wrote key NDA reports and his documentation and public presentation has been commended by FDA.
Ian started his career with the Medical Research Council and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland.
Ian gained his first degree in Combined Biology from Glasgow University and then investigated vesicular stomatitis replication at the MRC Institute of Virology for his PhD. Since retiring, Ian has progressed from 2 to 3 wheels and is our expert advisor on all things "trike"! |
