David became a management consultant in 1968 after 8 years in manufacturing management with the Marconi Company. With Orr and Boss and Partners, he worked in multi-national companies in the UK, North America and across Europe, raising performance levels, reducing waste and increasing profit. He was Managing Director for 5 years until 1989.
He has been working in the quality field since 1968 helping companies improve their performance and profitability. Process improvement has been a constant theme during this work, backed by rigorous analysis and experimentation.
David gained a first degree in Physics at Kings College, London University. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultancy and a Certified Management Consultant. His other professional memberships are Fellow of the Institute of Quality Assurance, Fellow of the Institute of Energy, Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, and Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. |
